I recently attended an all-girl’s event. I forgot how much fun it was to get together with your tribe. Although I value my friendships with men, I love how my female friends just have an innate ability to bare their souls and really, that is where true bonding begins. This inspired me to write this; what better way to bond than with an all-girl’s trip to Las Vegas? Here are ten, not so sinful things to do in Sin City with your girls.

Shop at the Outlet Stores
If you want to find designer and name-brand stores with the best deals, you must visit the Las Vegas Premium Outlets. There are two locations.

Las Vegas North Premium Outlets is located at the north end of the Strip (Las Vegas Boulevard) and has over 175 establishments. I personally like this location better than the south location because of the mix of stores. It’s a little higher end with brands such as Tory Burch and Dolce & Gabbana. The only downfall to this location is that it is an outdoor mall and it can get hot during the summer.

Las Vegas South Premium Outlets is located about 2.5 miles south of the Strip. It has over 145 stores and is an indoor mall. The brands here are more mid-level and ones you may see in your own city, but at a discounted price. I recommend going to both if you have time! You never know what kind of deals you might find on stuff you didn’t know you needed!

Watch a Concert
We are unofficially dubbed the entertainment capital of the world and with all the concert venues in this city, you are bound to catch a great performer while you are in town. Click the links below to find the schedule of events for our concert venues.

Dine at a Celebrity Chef’s Restaurant

If you are in Vegas with the girls, you have to try one of the award-winning restaurants owned by a celebrity chef! The food will be fabulous and Instagram worthy! Here are just some of the celebrity chefs we have in town. We are so lucky!

Giada De Laurentiis
Gordon Ramsay
Jose Andres
Julian Serrano
Michael Mina
Wolfgang Puck

Go to a Dayclub
We don’t just have pools in Las Vegas, we have dayclubs! Put on your cute suit and grab a cocktail, this is going to be fun! You probably won’t be doing a lot of swimming although it’s a great way to socialize and meet new people. If you want to swim, all the hotels on the Strip have great pools. You will most likely hangout at the pool of the hotel where you will be staying. Here are just some of the beautiful dayclubs:

Azure at Venetian
Bare Pool Lounge at The Mirage
Daylight Beach Club at Mandalay Bay
Daydream at the M Resort
Drai’s Beach Club at Cromwell
Encore Beach Club
Foxtail at SLS
Liquid Pool Lounge at ARIA
Tao Beach at Venetian
Marquee Dayclub The Cosmopolitan
Moorea Beach Club at Mandalay Bay
Palms Pool & Dayclub at Palms Casino Resort
Rehab at Hard Hotel & Casino
Venus at Caesers Palace
Wet Republic Ultra Pool at MGM Grand

Sip Tea at a Tea Lounge
Experience an afternoon of tea with a beautiful view of the Strip at the Tea Lounge at Mandarin Oriental! Pinkies up, ladies, I love this experience! It includes feasting on scones, sandwiches, a selection of desserts, and of course sipping on various teas! With the lounge on the 23rd floor, the view you get of the Strip is spectacular.

Walk the Strip
I have lived in Las Vegas for 14 years and I still love walking down the Strip. It is the best place for people-watching and you will be able to take some interesting photos! Watch the Bellagio fountains, see the volcano erupt at The Mirage, and don’t forget to take your photo at the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign! The best thing about this is it is all free to do!

Try Ziplining or Zoomlining
Yes, I am throwing this in because I know that sometimes when girls get together, we do crazy things. If you are feeling a little adventurous, head downtown to the Fremont Street Experience and try ziplining above the crowd. It’s 7 stories up and 2 blocks long. Because we all feel like a superhero on some days, you can also try zoomlining. This is 11 stories high, done on your tummy like you’re flying through the air and it is 5 blocks long. Why not? It will be fun!

Watch a Basketball Game
The Las Vegas Aces is the city’s first women’s professional basketball team. They play all their games at the Mandalay Bay Events Center; for their full schedule, click here. Say yes to girl power and watch these girls slay!

Experience a Luxurious Spa Treatment
Before heading home, get a massage or facial! Every hotel has a spa. Pick your favorite hotel and splurge. You deserve it! It will be a great time to wind down after your fabulous girl’s trip and plan for the next one!

See you soon. We can’t wait to see you in our fabulous city!

  3. This is a really great article, there sounds like a lot of great things to do on a girls trip in LV! I love the sound of the day clubs!

  4. I haven’t been to Vegas so I had no idea that there were so many other things than gambling to do in the city. I’d love to try the zipline, i remember seeing a video of it and it looked really cool. Dinner at a celebrity chef’s restaurant would also be in my books.

    1. Most people who haven’t been here think it’s all about gambling. There are so many other things to do here! You should visit one day. I think you’ll enjoy it 🙂

  5. Glad to know that there’s more to Las Vegas than shopping and casino. Perhaps you can recommend something for nature lovers next time 🙂

  6. I never really thought about going to Las Vegas before, it looks beautiful though. May need to add it to my want to do list.

  7. These sound like some fun active activities to do that can including the family or the girls. Zip lining sounds like lots of fun. How much in advance notice do you need to give to get the Celebrity Chef table.

    1. Definitely! Vegas has definitely become a family destination. There’s literally something for EVERYONE. Dining at a restaurant owned by a celebrity chef can get busy especially if you’re going to be here on a weekend. I recommend going on the restaurant site and make the reservation at least two weeks before you get here or you can also use Open Table!
