VII Code, In and Out of Vegas

This is a sponsored post; however, all opinions are entirely mine.

I remember the day exactly. It was February 6 when my incredibly long day began. Our business partners were in from New York and we were going to have an all-day planning session followed by drinks, dinner, and more drinks. On that day, I was awake for 18 hours and back in the office at 9 a.m. the next morning. Needless to say, I was tired.

Although I shouldn’t have been surprised, I was taken aback when a co-worker actually came up to me and said, “You look really tired. Your eyes look tired.” Wow, I must have looked pretty bad. It was time to try the VIIcode O2M Oxygen Eye Masks I received for testing purposes to provide a review.

Each box contains six treatments. It is really simple to use.

VII Code Eye Masks

Wash you face with your favorite cleanser.
Peel off the backing from the pads and stick under each eye.
Go to sleep.
Remove after eight hours of sleep.

The eye masks have the ingredients listed below which VIIcode claims bring the following results:

Sodium Hyaluronate: moisturizes skin, reduces inflammation, and helps prevent moisture loss.
Sodium PCA: helps to keep moisture, prevents skin cells from losing water and drying out, reduces inflammation, and prevents skin from aging.
Vitamin E: neutralizes the oxidant effect of free radicals which damage collagen and cause skin dryness, fine lines, and wrinkles.
Allantoin: helps soften and protect, while actively soothing skin. It stimulates cell regeneration, promoting healthy skin.
Aloe barbadensis, Algin: helps to hydrate your skin.

When I put these on, I honestly thought it was so soothing and I felt relaxed. There is a cool gel on each mask. I liken the feeling to putting a cold compress on your head when you have a terrible headache. The cooling effect makes you want to shut your eyes and sleep. The eye masks worked really well on me! They  brightened my skin giving it the appearance of wearing concealer under my eyes. I can honestly say that I thought I looked refreshed! I have to say, however, that I do not have extremely heavy eye bags or dark circles so I didn’t think I was much of a challenge for testing this product.

Meet Oliver. He is 43 years old and a single dad with two teenagers to take care of full time. If that isn’t enough, he works in a casino from 7:30 p.m. – 3:30 a.m. and has trouble sleeping. He never gets eight hours of sleep because of the sleeping issues he has or he may have to run errands with his kids before work. Needless to say, he has some eye bags, wrinkles, and dark circles. I was excited that he wanted to test out these eye masks!

Oliver’s Results

A picture speaks a thousand words. The Before photo was taken on day one while the After photo was taken on the last day of testing after three weeks. Oliver used the eye masks twice in the first week, twice in the second week and once in the third week. I think the results are amazing! You can visibly see an improvement in each photo. The wrinkles began to slowly improve and the dark circles lightened up! I believe if he used more of this product regularly, he would see even better results.

The downfall of these masks is that Oliver could not keep them on for eight hours while he was asleep. Because he consistently tosses and turns while he sleeps, he did not wake up with the masks still under his eyes. It was safe to say he did not get eight hours of treatment in the first three times he used them. By the fourth and fifth treatment, Oliver used them during the day to ensure they would be on at least four hours.

  1. 18 hours long is the NORMAL for my days. I’m up at 6 am, and I’m not in bed until midnight, weekday or weekend. I do look tired all the time, and that’s why I wear makeup but these masks would really be helpful in my skincare routine!

  2. You really can see the difference! Also I hate when coworkers are brutally honest like that. I suppose they’re thinking they’re being helpful, but it’s just annoying.

  3. Now that’s what I’m looking for. The only tricky part is for some people who might have problems with consistent 8-hour sleep. I guess it’s all about proper scheduling too.

  4. You can clearly see Oliver had great results, even without getting the full time on his eyes there is a change. These look great.

  5. It sounds like a great eye mask. I am lucky to still not have any wrinkles underneath my eyes. i am impressed by the before and after photos you’ve posted, the difference is highly visible.
