When I saw Ed Sheeran come on stage at the T-Mobile Arena last Friday, I wasn’t sure what to expect. He stood on the huge stage, all alone, yet he managed to get the audience to scream, clap and dance to his music! The audience sang along with him to almost every song often drowning out his voice with their enthusiasm. I was expecting a band to be behind him but it was only Ed, his guitar, and a loop pedal which allowed him to create beats on a loop to create layers which almost sounded like he had a whole band with him on stage. It was quite impressive.
His set lost included, “Thinking Out Loud,” “Shape of You,” and “You Need Me, I Don’t Need You.” Here are a few photos and a video from the concert.
